Çolakoğlu Metallurgy continues its support for education with the “Traditional Knowledge Competition.”
With 80 years of experience, Çolakoğlu Metallurgy carries forward its social legacy from its founders to the present day by supporting education, bringing together middle school students across Kocaeli through its now traditional “Knowledge and Culture Competition.”
The competition is organized under the auspices of the Kocaeli Governorship in cooperation with the Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education. Applications for the competition, which includes all middle schools across Kocaeli, have begun. The final will take place on May 6, 2026, at the Kocaeli Congress Center.
Through this event, Çolakoğlu Metallurgy once again demonstrates its commitment to education by strengthening students’ knowledge and boosting their self-confidence. The competition is open to all public and private middle schools and aims to enhance students’ knowledge levels while instilling a culture of competition among younger generations. Recognized as a model across Turkey, the competition continues to generate excitement this year as well.
Young Minds Compete
The competition will include questions aligned with the 6th and 7th grade curriculum in Turkish, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, and General Knowledge. Students will have the opportunity to assess their knowledge and skills while building confidence.
In the grand final, 12 teams that placed first in their respective districts will compete fiercely. At the end of the competition, students and schools ranking in the top three will be awarded prizes such as laptops, tablets, printers, and bicycles by Çolakoğlu Metallurgy.
Supporting equal opportunities in education and instilling the value of knowledge in young people, this event will conclude by honoring the young minds who will shape the future of Kocaeli.
