Marking its 80th anniversary, Çolakoğlu Metalurji has launched another meaningful project in line with its commitment to creating sustainable value. The company provided school bags and stationery sets to all first-grade students in Dilovası, where it operates, carrying forward its legacy in supporting education to future generations.
As part of its long-standing social responsibility initiative in collaboration with Dilovası Municipality, Turkey’s leading steel producer once again extended its support this year. First graders in Dilovası received their school supplies during a distribution ceremony held at Akşemseddin Primary School. The event was attended by Dilovası District Governor Dr. Metin Kubilay, Deputy Mayor of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Hasan Soba, Mayor of Dilovası Ramazan Ömeroğlu, District Director of National Education Azmi Tunç, local officials, and representatives from Çolakoğlu Metalurji.

As part of this meaningful project, the distributed school bags and stationery sets featured the logo of the Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sports Club. Aiming not only to support children’s education but also to contribute to their physical and social development, the club continues its efforts with the vision of raising healthy, confident, and socially responsible individuals. Established to encourage young generations to embrace sports as a way of life, the club helped children start the new school year with hope and confidence through this initiative.
