Celebrating over 80 years of history, Çolakoğlu Metalurji has once again brought pride to our country on the international stage, thanks to the young athletes trained under the Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sports Club, who competed in fencing tournaments held in Spain.
With its deep-rooted history of more than 80 years and its commitment to sustainable social contribution, Çolakoğlu Metalurji has once again demonstrated its support for sports and young talent internationally. At the International U14 Cadet Sabre Circuit Tournament held in Ciudad Real, Spain, our athletes Fatıma Eslem Ergül, Zeynep Özkırım, and Buğlemşah Özdemir stood out with their outstanding performances.
The three successful young athletes trained within the Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sports Club—Fatıma Eslem Ergül, Zeynep Özkırım, and Buğlemşah Özdemir—represented Türkiye at the International U14 Cadet Sabre Circuit Tournament held on March 28–29, 2026, in Ciudad Real, Spain.
Among our athletes, Fatıma Eslem Ergül and Buğlemşah Özdemir achieved remarkable success by finishing in the top 8 in a highly competitive field, earning the right to receive medals in the finals. These talented young athletes made both Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sports Club and our country proud. All our athletes who competed internationally demonstrated determination and perseverance, offering hope for the future. This achievement once again highlights the development and international competitiveness of Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sports Club.
