Çolakoğlu Metalurji achieved significant international success at the LACP Spotlight Awards—one of the most prestigious award programs for integrated activity and sustainability reporting—with its 2024 Sustainability Report. In addition to receiving the Gold Award, the company was also listed among the “Top 100 Reports Worldwide,” confirming its global competence.
Organized annually by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) and evaluating reports of hundreds of global companies, the LACP Spotlight Awards honored Çolakoğlu Metalurji with the “Gold Award” for its 2024 Sustainability Report.
The achievement came as a result of a comprehensive evaluation by the LACP jury based on eight main criteria, including first impression, cover design, narrative style, clarity of messages, and accessibility of information. This award demonstrates that Çolakoğlu Metalurji’s reporting standards have reached a level of international excellence in both content and design. The fact that the content and structure of the Sustainability Report were developed entirely in-house by the Çolakoğlu Metalurji Sustainability Team further reinforces the significance of this international accomplishment.
The company’s award-winning 2024 Sustainability Report presents concrete data on its progress in the areas of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), including climate change mitigation, energy efficiency, digital transformation, social contribution, and talent management.
In a statement from Çolakoğlu Metalurji, it was said: “It is a great source of pride for our company that our 2024 Sustainability Report has been evaluated among hundreds of reports on a global scale, receiving the Gold Award and being ranked among the world’s top 100 reports. We will continue to uphold our commitment to ESG by combining our circularity approach—supported by our scrap-based electric arc furnace (EAF) production model—with our digital transformation and people-centered strategies. This achievement is a tangible outcome of our sustainability vision.”
