Çolakoğlu Metalurji Crowns Its 80-Year Legacy with a Traditional Knowledge Competition
To mark its 80th anniversary, Çolakoğlu Metalurji held the grand finale of a special knowledge and culture competition at the Kocaeli Congress Center.
Speaking on behalf of Çolakoğlu Metalurji, Company Coordinator Cahit Aşkın stated: “This special event, organized to mark our 80th year, stands as a testament to our ongoing commitment to supporting the education of future generations.”
Kocaeli Provincial Director of National Education Ömer Akmanşen also delivered a speech at the final, saying: “First and foremost, I congratulate the Çolakoğlu Metalurji family on their 80th anniversary. This competition will remain a meaningful memory and a historic moment for our students here today. I thank Çolakoğlu Metalurji for supporting the final and award ceremony of this meaningful event, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of April 23, and I wish all our students the best of luck.”
Gebze Mustafa Üstündağ Middle School Becomes Kocaeli Champion
Students from 12 schools that qualified for the final competed by answering questions in Turkish, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, and General Knowledge. All students who placed in the competition were awarded laptops, tablets, and computers by Çolakoğlu Metalurji.
